Anger does not have to be Destructive..
Uncontrolled anger can be a destructive emotion, which can lead to abuse toward partners, children and other family members. Work colleagues and even friends can feel the full force of uncontrolled anger, which can lead to violence and is often fuelled by alcohol. Home issues can easily run into the work environment, especially in employment sectors which involve dealing with personal or emotional issues.
Do you feel like you are working in the front line..
Those working in social services, the NHS, in the caring profession, such as children in care or foster care, the Police or prison service all have emotionally charged roles and often encounter demanding and unpredictable behaviour, which can be all the more challenging to deal with if you are experiencing difficulties yourself, or if you don’t possess the right skills to deal with confrontational behaviour effectively.
What are the benefits of Anger Management Training to your organisation?
1. Improving Communication
Our Anger Management training is based on improving communication on many levels. Not only will this have an impact on the people we are working with, it will also have a positive impact within your organisation.
2. Feel Safer
People feel safer and more confident to talk when they are better equipped to deal with anger and confrontation. This is great for morale, with improvements in productivity and less absenteeism. A happy workplace is a healthy workplace. If any of the team do experience anger issues in their home lives, they will hopefully have the skills to help them deal with this too, a personal benefit as well as a business benefit.
3. Practical
We believe our training is different, because we train your staff in the skills to work directly with angry and confrontational people as opposed to just learning about the causes of, and technical aspects of anger.
4. Transferable Skills
These skills are designed to be passed on to the people your organisation works with, with the benefit of enabling them to take responsibility for themselves. As with all personal development work, this specific training has a wider effect within families, communities and society as a whole.
5. Personal Development
The training will further enhance a process of self development, self-improvement and self-empowerment within individuals on a deeper level: the main goal for this training is to empower individuals so they can attain a state of self-control, regain balance and a deep understanding of self.
6. A Cohesive Approach
This type of training can create a more cohesive approach for organisations to communication, as this feedback from the Youth Community Centre in North Wales demonstrates; “We are all speaking the same language now, and we are all pulling on the same oar, going in the same direction. It is making communication so much easier.”
7. We fit in with your organisation
Our training can be tailored to any organisation of any size: it’s about working with people and giving them the skills to better manage situations. If you would like further information on how we could work with your individual organisation, please Contact Us.
